There is a lot of debate in the therapy world about managed care (i.e., insurance). Proponents on one hand point out that it keeps practitioners accountable for treatment. On the other hand, topics like privacy are a concern for those against managed care. There is no easy answer to this debate and it usually boils down to the pratcitioner's preference.

In my practice at this time, I have decided not to get on any insurance boards. This does not mean that your insurance will not cover my services. Many insurances will cover licensed therapists, but it is usually out of network. I am happy to provide you with any documentation that you may need to obtain reimbursement if you fall into this category. Benefits differ on their coverage for out of network providers, so be sure to check with your insurance.

My fee for a 50 minute session is $100. I am sensitive to the needs of those I work with and am happy to set up an interest-free payment plan or adjust appointment frequency to accomodate almost any situation. I accept cash, check, or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, or Discover).
